Job summary

Precise Software Solutions, Inc. seeks an IT Laboratory Support Specialist to support a laboratory on site in Bothell, WA. The role provides first line IT support for lab instrumentation, LIMS, and end-user training.

Occasional remote support for other labs in the U.S. may occur with rare travel for in-person support. The candidate should have IT and laboratory experience, be able to commute to Bothell, and hold USC/GC/EAD with the ability to obtain a government public trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Requires combination of IT and laboratory experience.
• Minimum 1 year in a lab environment providing hands-on IT support or lab duties or a degree in a lab science.
• Minimum 2 years IT support experience with direct user contact and strong customer service.
• Biomed IT experience preferred.
• Must pass background check and obtain Public Trust clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide first line IT support to analysts and end users.
• Install and configure IT equipment and instrument controllers.
• Troubleshoot software/hardware incidents (Windows/Mac).
• Maintain documentation for incidents and resolutions.
• Collaborate with dispersed teams and external vendors.
