Job summary

Astreya is seeking an operational specialist in New York City to own end-to-end hardware inventory lifecycle tracking, install and maintain the NYC testing lab, and support procurement and vendor contracts. The role requires meticulous attention to detail with enterprise ERP systems and hands-on hardware skills.

The candidate will manage asset records, enable device provisioning, and assist with budget tracking and vendor coordination in a fast-paced lab environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in hardware lab management, IT asset management, logistics coordination, or IT operations.
• Hands-on hardware skills: unboxing, assembling, mounting, cabling conference room gear and peripherals.
• Experience with enterprise ERP/inventory systems (SAP, Agile/gPLM) and procurement tools (Ariba, Buying Hub, Navigo, Coupa).
• Excellent attention to detail with physical inventory tracking, serials, and barcodes.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end hardware inventory lifecycle tracking in SAP Prod / Agile / gPLM.
• Maintain NYC hardware trackers and QA inventories in real time.
• Perform bi-weekly physical inventory counts and reconcile with system records.
• Coordinate quarterly disposal and e-cycling; update SAP Prod status to Retired.
• Provide check-in/check-out support for cross-functional teams.
• Setup NYC lab: unbox, assemble, configure rooms, ensure devices enrolled and networked.
