Job summary

Astreya is hiring a Hardware Support Technician II in Mountain View, CA to handle procurement, inventory, asset management, and logistics for pre-market electronics. You will ensure proper imaging, flashing, and ID rewrites while supporting events and global shipments.

The role requires hands-on hardware/software work, effective communication, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Travel to events may be needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years’ related experience or training.
• IT savvy and interest in new technologies.
• Inventory management experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Participates in inventory and asset management including receipt and disposition of hardware.
• Documents defects of pre-mass production hardware and software.
• Performs hardware reworks and software reworks (imaging devices, data wipe, ID rewrites).
• Conducts firmware upgrade and image flashing for devices.
• Provides technical support during events; travel often required.
