Job summary

Hims & Hers is seeking a Facilities Technician I, Compounding to support the Operations Engineering & Maintenance team in maintaining Lab equipment in Pharmacy.

You will perform predictive and preventive maintenance on tablet presses, blenders, mills, hoods, coaters, and air compressors; document data; troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems; ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age and present state-required proof of age documents.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to safely lift and carry items up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with MS Word, Excel, and Project Management.
• Ability to troubleshoot machinery without supervision.
• Ability to document maintenance charts and data for process improvement.
• English communication proficiency; bilingual in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to cross-train and work with cross-functional teams.
• Adherence to safety, attendance, and confidentiality policies.

Responsibilities

• Provide predictive/preventive maintenance on Lab Equipment such as tablet presses, blenders, mills, hoods, coaters, air compressors, electrical controls.
• Document maintenance data on charts and records.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
• Identify facilities issues and develop predictive maintenance strategies.
• Communicate safety risks and downtime risks to management.
• Perform calibration and testing to ensure quality standards.
• Maintain calibration records and regulatory documentation.
• Collaborate with QA and regulatory to maintain equipment logs and validation reports.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and production interruptions to minimize downtime.
• Coordinate repairs with production to minimize disruptions.
