Job summary

Ahhmgt is seeking a Laboratory Supervisor to oversee daily lab operations, manage staff, and ensure regulatory compliance across facilities including rural health clinics. The role includes coordinating shifts, training staff, and maintaining quality control and calibration of instruments.

The incumbent will participate in PI teams, report safety issues promptly, and ensure policies are followed to support patient care and organizational values.

Qualifications

• Oversee staff recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing performance.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA regulatory requirements.
• Ensure laboratory quality control and instrument calibration standards.
• Maintains adherence to hospital policies and departmental procedures.

Responsibilities

• Directs laboratory staff and assigns work stations.
• Oversees department operations, staffing, and timesheets.
• Participates in PI teams and provides trend data for improvements.
• Ensures all lab functions meet regulatory and safety standards.
• Reports and documents patient safety issues using the occurrence system.
