Job summary

Candidate should have a minimum of five years in clinical laboratory work and at least three years in management or supervision, with a preference for an MHA/MBA.

Responsibilities

• Direct staffing, hiring, orientation, scheduling, evaluation and continuing education initiatives.
• Develop and maintain department objectives, services, policies and procedures; ensure compliance.
• Oversee budgets and fiscal performance; prepare operating and capital budgets.
• Ensure QA and quality control programs meet national accreditation standards.
• Monitor resources and ensure efficient utilization of department resources.
• Resolve daily operational issues and maintain instrument and computer systems.
