Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Lab Diagnostic Sales Specialist to lead the sales process for capital equipment in clinical laboratories across the Northeast region. You will manage lead generation, financial modeling, and collaboration with manufacturer partners to close system sales in chemistry, immunology, histology, microbiology, hematology, and molecular diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Sales experience in laboratory environment or capital equipment is highly desired.
• Understanding of laboratory workflow and related processes.
• Experience in complex sales with successful outcomes.
• Strong negotiation, planning, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop plans with manufacturers and Lab Product Representatives.
• Maintain a robust pipeline across the diagnostic instrumentation portfolio.
• Lead end-to-end sales of capital equipment in clinical laboratories within the assigned region.
• Provide technical differentiation and value to customer solutions.
• Assist customers in achieving defined business and technical goals with pre/post analysis.
• Deliver tailored presentations and conduct system demonstrations, road shows and site visits.
• Present lab workflow improvements to improve test accuracy and patient outcomes.
• Negotiate with customers and partners to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Build trusted relationships and ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
• Complete administrative tasks and maintain SFDC records and market feedback.
