Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Lab Diagnostic Sales Specialist to manage the sales process of capital equipment in clinical laboratories within the Charlotte, NC region and surrounding Mid-Atlantic territory.

The role emphasizes lead generation, financial modeling, and close collaboration with manufacturer partners to win system sales across chemistry, immunology, histology, microbiology, hematology, and molecular diagnostics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience preferred.
• Sales experience in laboratory industry and selling capital equipment into hospitals and reference laboratories is strongly preferred.
• Functional understanding of laboratory workflow and processes.
• Experience working in complex sales environments with demonstrated success.
• Strong negotiation, strategic planning, organizational skills.
• Excellent communication & listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and qualify new sales opportunities and develop plans for introducing new solutions with manufacturers and Lab Product Representatives.
• Execute on business opportunities and maintain a robust pipeline across the diagnostic instrumentation portfolio.
• Manage end-to-end sales process of capital equipment in the clinical laboratory including lead generation and financial modeling.
• Provide competitive differentiation and value to customer solutions; deliver tailored presentations and demonstrations.
• Travel within assigned region; maintain in-person presence and meet credentialing requirements.
