Hamilton Company, a global leader in precision fluid measuring and automated liquid handling, seeks a Field Applications Specialist to provide onsite and remote support within a designated territory. You will develop application protocols, troubleshoot instruments, and train customers in software and hardware usage.

The role emphasizes independent work, strong communication, and the ability to manage customer expectations while supporting Hamilton’s advanced automation solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering from an accredited institution.
• Minimum one year hands-on experience utilizing laboratory automation or scientific applications.
• Proficiency or experience in programming or operating automated laboratory equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop application-specific protocols for Hamilton products by interpreting customer or sales-provided procedures.
• Troubleshoot application protocols and instrumentation.
• Optimize liquid handling performance of instrumentation.
• Provide basic and advanced software and hardware training.
• Maintain support for existing customers with additional protocols and training.
• Understand customer expectations and schedule work accordingly.
• Document application support work and customer visits in company systems.
• Work independently and make informed decisions based on experience.
• Maintain professional relationships with customers and co‑workers.
• Other duties as assigned.
