IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Laboratory Administrative Assistant on-site in Louisville, KY. You will support the lab with ordering, inventory, and coordination with leadership to ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced diagnostics environment.

The role emphasizes strong organization, proactive problem-solving, and clear communication. On-site hours are 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with a full-time benefits-ready position.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ordering systems; SAP preferred.
• Experience working with vendors and service representatives.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel: formulas, pivot tables; Outlook/Word/Teams/SharePoint).
• Strong organizational discipline for calendars, documents, priorities, deadlines.
• Initiative, self-direction, and ability to identify gaps and solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Assist lab with a variety of tasks.
• Support fast-paced, growth-focused business with task and time management.
• Order lab supplies, assist with inventory, and restock.
• Coordinate with lab leadership to gather needs (ordering, maintenance requests).
• Manage vendors and third parties: purchasing supplies, sending outs, scheduling meetings, QA, track receipts.
