Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., Elmhurst, IL, is seeking a Laboratory Operations Supervisor to lead a laboratory team and oversee day-to-day operations in a fast-paced diagnostic setting. You will supervise Laboratory Technicians, organize staff schedules, and drive workflow improvements while also performing bench work as needed to support throughput and quality.

Qualifications

• Supervise 5+ employees in a fast-paced lab.
• Knowledge of lab testing or operations leadership is preferred.
• Experience with lab equipment (analyzers, microscopes) is a plus.

• Supervise laboratory operations and staff; perform bench work when needed.
• Organize staff schedules, coordinate workflow, and oversee costs & metrics.
• Troubleshoot analytical instruments and optimize turnaround times.
• Serve as a business and people leader for the lab and line of business.
