Job summary

SiriusXM LA Events is seeking a flexible part-time assistant to support pre-production and logistics for events across the LA area, including studio and external venues. You’ll engage with the public in a friendly, professional manner and help with setup, research, data entry, and inventory tasks.

Responsibilities include assisting with experiential activations, live broadcasts, concerts, podcasts and talent appearances, with a focus on organization and timely execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6-12 months of related work experience.
• Flexible schedule; approx. 10-15 hours per week; weekdays/evenings/weekends/holidays.
• Some heavy lifting.
• Strong public speaking and presentation skills; interpersonal skills with staff at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Attention to detail and organization.
• Professional on calls and in person.
• Initiative and follow-through on projects.
• Interest in current events and pop culture related to assigned channels/programs.
• Comfortable with talent and high-profile individuals.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking under deadlines.
• MS-Office Suite and Social Media experience.
• Typically requires no previous professional experience.
• Legal right to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist the SiriusXM LA Events team with pre-production and logistics for LA Area events, following procedures.
• Coordinate events including Experiential activations, live broadcasts, concerts, sporting events, podcasts, and talent appearances in LA studio and external venues.
• Interact with the public in a friendly, professional manner.
• Set up and break down event materials (step and repeats, tents, banners) and perform basic office administrative tasks (research, data entry, inventory management).
