Job summary

Contabo is seeking a full-time Technical Support Specialist (L3 System Administrator level) to ensure 24/7 operation and top-tier customer support in English and German.

You will install, configure, and administer servers, networks, and applications, monitor infrastructure, and document solutions. Night shifts are included, and remote or hybrid work options are available within the Czech Republic to support customers across time zones.

Qualifications

• Completed technically oriented vocational training in IT or equivalent professional experience.
• Very good knowledge of Linux administration (Shell/Terminal).
• Service-oriented, independent and responsible action in technical customer support, hardware handling, and Windows server administration.
• English language skills (mandatory, as this is our company language).
• Desirable: Bash scripting knowledge, SQL databases, German language.

Responsibilities

• Provide 3rd level technical support and monitoring to ensure 24/7 operation.
• Handle customer support communications in English and German via ticket system.
• Install, configure and administer servers, networks, and applications; document solutions and proactively monitor infrastructure.
• Take night shift responsibilities to support customers across time zones and implement new solutions when volume is low.
• Collaborate with Operations to maintain heart of the company and contribute to professional development through training.
