Job summary

Euclid Innovations is seeking a Level 3 Support/Application Support/Production Support specialist in New York for a 12-month contract. You will collaborate with trading, compliance, risk, and IT to operate and enhance trading system capabilities using modern technologies and data architectures.

Responsibilities include incident management, deployment automation, server provisioning, and system monitoring integrations.

Qualifications

• Familiar with Linux command line, scripting, and file operations.
• Strong SQL skills: queries, views, indexes, performance.
• Experience with automation tools like Tidal, Autosys, Control-M.
• Good written and verbal communication; ability to document actions.
• Methodical approach to problem solving and incident management.
• Ability to define and document runbooks and procedures.
• Familiar with release packaging tools such as Rundeck, Ansible.
• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Implement pre/post-deployment verifications for releases.
• Integrate with Rundeck or DevAzure for deployments.
• Create and maintain start/stop scripts for applications.
• Integrate with monitoring tools (e.g., OpsRamp).
• Provision and configure new servers and environments.
• Respond to production incidents and tickets, driving resolution.
• Troubleshoot trading/system data production issues.
• Recommend infrastructure improvements and optimizations.
• Knowledge of Python scripting is a plus.
