Job summary

Integrated Technology Systems, a growing MSP based in New York City, is seeking an L1 Support Engineer who thrives on supporting multiple clients as part of a close-knit team. This is an in-office role based in NYC.

The position offers a base salary starting at $55k+, quarterly bonuses, health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) plan beginning in year two. You will handle first-line troubleshooting, user provisioning, device deployment, and on-site/remote support as part of a high-touch IT service team.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of MSP or comparable help desk experience.
• Experience with a PSA or ticketing system (ConnectWise preferred).
• Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with Entra ID/Azure (training provided as needed).
• macOS experience preferred.
• iOS/Android device support and MDM familiarity.

Responsibilities

• First-line troubleshooting and resolution: password resets, MFA resets, printer configuration, and break/fix, with proper ticket routing and escalation.
• User management in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, including onboarding and offboarding via established workflows.
• Windows 11 and macOS device deployment and configuration, plus mobile device enrollment (iOS/Android).
• First-pass network triage: WAN/LAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, and VPN client issues, escalating firewall and infrastructure issues to L2.
• Security operations support: application approval requests, phishing report handling, and initial alert triage per documented runbooks.
• Resolve L2/L3 issues where solutions are already documented, as a path to advancement.
• Participate in project work, on-site and remote support, and the on-call rotation.
