Job summary

Integrated Technology Systems, a growing NYC-based MSP, is hiring an L1 Support Engineer for an in-office role in NYC. Base salary starts at $55k+ with quarterly bonuses, health insurance, PTO, and a 401(k) starting in year two.

Responsibilities include first-line troubleshooting, user management in Entra ID/Azure and Microsoft 365, device deployment (Windows 11 and macOS), and basic network triage. On-call rotation and on-site/remote support are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 1+ year MSP or help desk experience.
• Experience with ConnectWise PSA or similar ticketing system.
• Working knowledge of Windows 11 and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Familiarity with Entra ID/Azure; training available.
• macOS experience preferred.
• iOS/Android device support and MDM familiarity.
• Networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN.
• Exposure to RMM toolsets and endpoint security tools a plus.
• Certifications a plus: CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft MS-900/MD-102.

Responsibilities

• First-line troubleshooting and resolution: password resets, MFA resets, printer configuration, and break/fix with proper ticket routing and escalation.
• User management in Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365, including onboarding and offboarding via workflows.
• Windows 11 and macOS device deployment and configuration, plus mobile device enrollment (iOS/Android).
• Initial network triage: WAN/LAN connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN client issues; escalate firewall/infrastructure to L2.
• Security operations support: phishing report handling and initial alert triage per runbooks.
• Address L2/L3 issues where documented; participate in on-site and remote support and on-call rotation.
• Participate in project work and ongoing customer engagements.
