Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an L&D Capability Leader to design and continuously improve employee training supporting equipment reliability and safety in a union manufacturing setting. You will align learning with business needs using ADDIE/SAT and collaborate with Operations to qualify and certify employees for safe, effective work.

The role emphasizes delivering structured training, certifications, and records management, with a focus on reducing downtime and improving mill performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years of manufacturing maintenance, reliability, or training experience.
• Experience developing and delivering technical training materials.
• Strong facilitation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain structured training programs using ADDIE/SAT principles.
• Coordinate classroom, OJT, peer-to-peer and digital training for hourly employees, supervisors, and leaders.
• Develop and maintain certification and qualification programs; track completions and re-certifications.
• Continuously improve training programs to reduce downtime and align with safety and reliability goals.
