Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced Knowledge Modeler / Ontologist to design, govern, and deliver enterprise ontologies for knowledge graph initiatives. You will translate complex domains into rigorous semantic models, collaborate with data engineers and AI/ML teams, and ensure alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

5+ years of hands-on ontology engineering or knowledge modeling.
Experience delivering domain ontologies in enterprise or consulting settings.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Science, Computer Science, Library Science, Linguistics, Philosophy, or related field.

Responsibilities

Lead the full ontology lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
Design T-Box structures and contribute to A-Box hydration patterns.
Apply OWL, RDF, RDFS, SKOS, SHACL compliance and governance standards.
Collaborate with NLP teams on ontology-guided information extraction from unstructured sources.
Engage with business SMEs to elicit concepts, relationships, and competency questions.
