Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Utility to maintain kitchen areas, dishware and utensils in a clean, sanitary state. You will assist in food prep and uphold the TSFR Roadmap with core values, while thriving in a fast-paced environment.

The role involves indoor and occasional outdoor work, standing for long periods, lifting up to 40 pounds, and responding calmly in emergencies to protect team members.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents and write routine reports.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and loads dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Completes all assigned prep work.
• Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area.
• Washes work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment and floors.
• Cleans garbage cans and trash receptacles.
• Assembles, maintains and breaks down dish machine.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
