Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a General Utility to support kitchen operations, maintain clean work areas, and assist with food preparation. The role emphasizes safety, sanitation, and teamwork in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

You will regularly handle dishwashing duties, assist in prep tasks, and help with basic maintenance around the kitchen. Expect standing, bending, and lifting as part of daily duties in a busy dining room setting.

Qualifications

• Maintains clean, sanitary, and orderly dishwashing and food prep areas.
• Assists in basic food preparation procedures as needed.

Responsibilities

• Scrapes and pre-rinses food from dirty dishes and places them in the dishwashing machine.
• Washes pots, pans, and trays by hand and/or machine.
• Completes all assigned prep work.
• Removes trash and garbage to dumpster area.
• Washes work surfaces, equipment, and floors.
• Cleans garbage cans and trash receptacles.
• Transports cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day.
• Works indoors and outdoors as required.
• Responds to emergencies to ensure safety.
