Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a dependable kitchen team member to prepare breakfast and/or lunch offerings, assist with serving lines, and help with occasional catering events.

You will perform all positions within the kitchen to support daily meal service. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and can follow recipes, maintain food safety, and work in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED, preferred; or up to one-month related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Assist with the set-up of serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the required temperature
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; plan and prep ahead for next day’s menus
• Operate equipment with proper certification and maintain clean work areas
• Maintain FIFO stock, stock cooler/storage racks, and clean equipment and dishes
• Requisition food and supplies through the Kitchen Manager
• Prepare baked goods as required by the menu plan and present to customers
• Serve items with correct portions and maintain quality presentation and hospitality
• Maintain food safety logs and follow HACCP processes
• Handle cash/register duties as required and process meal reimbursements
• Attend required meetings and training hours; uphold Opaa!’s core values
