Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking staff to prepare and serve meals across serving lines, following recipes and safety guidelines. You will assist in daily production and help with catering events, ensuring foods meet required temperatures and presentation standards.

Responsibilities include operating kitchen equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and handling administrative tasks like timekeeping and scheduling as needed. Experience in food service is advantageous; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required or up to one-month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small groups.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines.
• Assist in preparation of foods per menu and recipes, and prep for next day menus.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure proper food temperatures.
• Follow FIFO procedures and HACCP food safety logs.
• Handle customer monies at service time and operate POS as needed.
• Submit hours worked via ADP or time sheets; notify DNS in advance of shifts.
• Participate in other duties as assigned.
