Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand simple instructions, memos, and menu plans.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and maintain production records.
• Knowledge of HACCP/food-safety practices is preferred or willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure food is held at proper temperatures.
• Assist in food prep according to menu plans and recipes.
• Operate kitchen equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas and follow FIFO.
• Assist with cleaning dishes and cafeteria areas and restock items.
