Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. is seeking a dependable kitchen associate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings, assist serving lines, and help with occasional catering. You will perform all kitchen positions as needed.

This role requires following recipes, maintaining cleanliness, operating basic kitchen equipment, and ensuring food is held at proper temperatures while delivering friendly, quality service in a school cafeteria setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or up to one-month related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions and write simple correspondence.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide; basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure foods are held at proper temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and practice FIFO for storage.
• Assist in catering functions and provide quality service to customers.
