Job summary

Opaa! Food Management, Inc. seeks a kitchen/production associate to prepare breakfast and lunch offerings and assist with serving lines. Staff will perform duties across the kitchen and support occasional catering functions, under the guidance of the Kitchen Manager.

This role involves food preparation, line setup, dishwashing, inventory maintenance, and adherence to safety, health, and HHFKA/CACFP standards to ensure quality service to students and staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or up to one-month related experience.
• Ability to read simple instructions and write or communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Set up serving lines and ensure food is held at correct temperatures.
• Prepare foods per menu plan and Opaa! recipes; batch cook as needed.
• Operate equipment (slicers, mixers, grinders) with proper certification.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and follow FIFO procedures.
• Assist in serving and provide hospitable, high-quality customer service.
