Opaa! Food Management is hiring for a kitchen team member to support breakfast and lunch preparation and serving lines. You will participate in occasional catering and assist with all kitchen tasks as needed.

Responsibilities include mise en place, food production, equipment operation, safety, and cleanliness. The role requires adherence to recipes, temperature controls, and FIFO inventory practices in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

High School Diploma or GED is preferred; or up to one-month related experience or training.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple correspondence and effectively present information to customers and colleagues.

Mansioni

Set up serving lines daily and ensure all food is held at the required temperatures.
Assist in food prep according to menu and Opaa! recipes; plan for next day’s menus.
Operate slicers, mixers, grinders, and other equipment with proper certification.
Keep work areas neat, clean, and organized; practice FIFO for stock.
Support cleaning of kitchen and cafeteria areas and restock as needed.
Prepare baked goods such as breads, cakes, and cookies as required by the menu.
