Job summary

Valleybrook Country Club is seeking a part-time Kitchen Staff member to assist with food preparation, sanitation, and inventory in a fast-paced club environment.

You will support the culinary team, handle basic kitchen tasks, and contribute to delivering high-quality dishes for guests and events. This role emphasizes reliability, neat appearance, and strong communication within a hospitality team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Culinary School Degree preferred.
• 2 Years experience in restaurant and banquet arenas.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice fruits, vegetables, meat, and poultry. Measure ingredients and help assemble basic dishes or plate meals.
• Cleanliness & Sanitation: Wash dishes, pots, pans, and utensils. Wipe down counters, clean food prep surfaces, sweep, and mop floors.
• Waste Disposal: Empty garbage bins, take trash to dumpsters, and maintain clean waste disposal areas.
• Stock & Inventory: Unpack food deliveries, rotate stock, check expiration dates, and restock workstations with necessary supplies.
• Safety Compliance: Follow local health codes, food safety guidelines, and proper sanitation procedures.
• To assist in preparing and presenting all menu items in a professional manner as to maintain the high standards of quality set forth.
• To follow policies and schedules for the operation in the kitchen facility.
• At all times, present a favorable image.
