Job summary

DoorDash DashMart Kitchens is seeking a motivated Kitchen Shift Lead to oversee kitchen execution in a shared DashMart facility. You will lead Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators to ensure quality, safety, cleanliness, and on-time orders.

Applicants should have experience in food service or grocery leadership, be capable in fast-paced settings, and hold or pursue a Food Handler’s Certification.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, kitchen operations, or grocery leadership.
• Ability to lead in fast-paced, physically active environments.
• Detail-oriented with high standards for food safety and cleanliness.
• Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to complete or hold Food Handler’s Certification.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned kitchen shifts and lead execution of food prep, cleanliness, safety and inventory.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately, on time, and meet quality standards.
• Coach and delegate tasks to Kitchen Operations Associates; escalate issues.
• Collaborate with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership for alignment.
• Contribute ideas to improve workflows and site performance.
