Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead to drive frontline kitchen execution within a shared DashMart facility. You will supervise Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators, ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness, and timely order fulfillment during your shift.

The role requires experience in food service or grocery leadership, a high school diploma or GED, and a commitment to upholding food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, kitchen operations, or grocery leadership.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Willing to obtain (or already hold) a Food Handler’s Certification.

Responsibilities

• Own assigned kitchen shifts, ensuring strong execution of food prep, cleanliness, safety, and inventory practices.
• Ensure all orders are prepared accurately, on time, and meet quality standards.
• Lead and delegate tasks to Kitchen Operations Associates, serving as primary escalation point for kitchen challenges.
• Coach team members on food safety, cleanliness, and execution standards while modeling professionalism.
• Collaborate with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership to align kitchen and warehouse operations.
• Support shared facility standards and contribute ideas to improve workflows and site performance.
• Foster a collaborative “One Team” culture within the facility.
