Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead for DashMart Kitchens housed in a shared DashMart facility. You will lead Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators, ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness, and on-time order fulfillment.

You will collaborate with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership to align kitchen and warehouse operations, coach staff on safety and execution, and drive continuous improvement across the site.

Qualifications

Experience in food service, kitchen operations, or grocery leadership.
High school diploma or GED.
Willing to complete (or already hold) a Food Handler’s Certification.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Own assigned kitchen shifts with strong execution of standards and safety.
Ensure all orders are prepared accurately and on time.
Lead and delegate tasks to Kitchen Operations Associates; escalation point for challenges.
Coach team on food safety, cleanliness, and execution standards; model professionalism.
Partner with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership to align kitchen and warehouse operations.
Support shared facility standards and contribute ideas to improve workflows and site performance.
Foster a collaborative “One Team” environment inside the facility.
