Job summary

DoorDash's DashMart Kitchens (DMK) is seeking a motivated Kitchen Shift Lead to manage shift-level kitchen execution in a shared DashMart facility. You will lead Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators, ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness, and on-time order delivery.

You will guide team members on food safety, cleanliness, and execution standards while collaborating with DashMart site leadership to drive overall facility success.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service, kitchen operations, or grocery leadership.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Food Handler’s Certification preferred or required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Own kitchen shifts and ensure food preparation standards, cleanliness, safety, and inventory practices.
• Lead Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators during your shift.
• Ensure orders are prepared accurately and on time, meeting quality standards.
• Coach team members on food safety and execution standards while modeling professionalism.
• Partner with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership to align kitchen and warehouse operations.
