Job summary

DoorDash is seeking a Kitchen Shift Lead to drive kitchen execution within a shared DashMart facility. You will lead Kitchen Operations Associates and Shift Coordinators, ensuring food quality, safety, cleanliness, and on-time order fulfillment.

You should have leadership experience in food service or grocery operations, a high school diploma or GED, and ideally a Food Handler’s Certification. Base pay is shown later with benefits and growth opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Own your assigned kitchen shifts, ensuring strong execution of food prep standards, cleanliness, safety, and inventory practices.
• Ensure all orders are prepared accurately, on time, and meet quality and safety standards.
• Lead and delegate tasks to Kitchen Operations Associates; act as escalation point for kitchen challenges.
• Coach team members on food safety, cleanliness, and execution standards with professionalism and urgency.
• Collaborate with DashMart Shift Leads and Site Leadership to align kitchen and warehouse operations.
