Job summary

The role supports dishwashing, operates cleaning equipment, and follows Hazardous Material Management procedures to protect staff and guests.

This position requires a 21+ year old applicant with a High School Diploma, flexibility for nights and weekends, and the ability to work in a fast-paced hotel kitchen environment, lifting up to 50

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Experience in stewarding is preferred.
• Valid Driver's License and clean driving record are needed.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds; 21+ years of age.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, kitchens, venues, and equipment according to health standards.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen hoods, stoves, grills, ovens, and related equipment.
• Pick up and dispose of trash and cardboard in all kitchens and venues.
• Wash, clean, and polish equipment to be ready for use.
• Operate cleaning equipment and tools for sanitation; assist with dish/pot washing as needed.
• Follow Hazardous Material Management procedures and use SDS.
• Be part of the biohazard response cleanup team when needed.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in back-of-house areas and related spaces.
