Job summary

Fontainebleau Las Vegas is seeking a Utility Porter responsible for cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment and facilities, and for collecting and disposing of trash and cardboard across all F&B venues.

You will operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment, assist with inventory, and follow Hazardous Materials Management procedures. The role requires a high school diploma, flexibility, and the ability to work nights, holidays, and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Previous stewarding experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Experience with inventory controls, storerooms, and procurement preferred.
• Ability to climb, stand on ladders, and work overhead.
• Ability to complete safety training and certifications.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Willing to work holidays, nights and weekends.
• Work in a fast-paced, busy environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchens, venues, and equipment.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen hoods, stoves, ovens, and related equipment.
• Pick up and dispose of trash and cardboard in all kitchens and F&B venues.
• Wash, clean, and polish equipment for use.
• Clean all kitchen areas including freezers, walls, ceilings, drains, and floors.
• Conduct inventory counts and fill requisitions as required.
• Follow Hazardous Material Management procedures for chemicals and SDS.
• Protect company tools and assets per policies.
• Operate cleaning equipment and dish/ pot washing stations.
• Assist with dish and cutlery washing and sorting as needed.
• Contribute to biohazard response clean-up when assigned.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness in all back-of-house areas.
• Operate pallet jacks and other basic warehouse equipment as needed.
• Adhere to company policies and be flexible for duties as assigned.
