Job summary

Maplefields & R.L. Vallee in Town of Peru, NY, seeks a Coordinator for Myfresh Cafe or Amato's to oversee daily operations, ensuring top customer experience and smooth kitchen workflow.

You will direct hot and cold prep and maximize grab-and-go variety while controlling spoilage and maintaining Food Safety Standards. Coordinate with the Store Manager to hire, train, and manage kitchen staff, maintain inventory, place orders, and ensure proper waste reduction.

Qualifications

• Essential kitchen experience and valid food safety certification.
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders per procedures and keep grab-and-go items well stocked.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment including equipment and surfaces.
• Receive, rotate and store incoming orders; manage inventory and waste.
• Lead kitchen during busy times and coordinate with the Store Manager.
• Train and supervise kitchen staff; ensure proper coverage of all shifts.
• Record waste and implement strategies to reduce waste.
