Job summary

Maplefields & R.L. Vallee operates Maplefields - Littleton South in Littleton, NH. The coordinator will oversee daily kitchen operations, directing food preparation for hot plate and cold well items, maximizing sales while minimizing waste and maintaining Food Safety Standards.

As a lead role, you will partner with the Store Manager to train staff, manage inventory, place orders, and ensure cleanliness. This full-time position includes benefit offerings and advancement opportunities.

Qualifications

• Kitchen experience and valid food safety certificate or willingness to obtain certification.
• Ability to work well individually and in a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders per procedures and keep hot plate/cold well stocked with fresh grab-and-go items.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment including equipment and surfaces.
• Receive, rotate, and store all incoming orders.
• Coordinate with kitchen staff and store staff, and seek help as needed.
• Work with the Store Manager to hire, manage and train kitchen staff.
• Maintain inventory levels and place product orders to avoid shortages.
• Communicate clearly with staff and address issues promptly.
• Keep organized inventory to minimize waste and ensure proper dating.
• Ensure temperature checks are performed and documented.
• Lead kitchen during busy times and train staff as required.
• Create a positive, respectful, teamwork-driven work environment.
• Record waste and implement measures to reduce waste.
