Job summary

Maplefields & R.L. Vallee is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure a great customer experience. You will direct hot plate and cold well prep, maintain safety standards, and collaborate with store staff to keep inventory balanced and waste at a minimum.

The supervisor will lead during peak times, hire and train kitchen staff in coordination with the Store Manager, and sustain a positive work environment focused on teamwork and customer service.

Qualifications

• Essential kitchen and food prep experience.
• Valid food safety certificate or willingness to obtain.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service focus and teamwork ability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders per food prep procedures and keep grab-and-go items stocked.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary work environment and proper dish/equipment cleaning.
• Receive, rotate, and store incoming orders; manage inventory.
• Communicate positively with kitchen and store staff; train staff as needed.
• Lead during busy times and ensure proper coverage of all shifts.
• Record waste and monitor to reduce shortages and waste.
