MODERN MATURITY CENTER in Dover, DE is seeking a Kitchen Operations Floor Supervisor for a full-time shift from Monday to Friday, 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. This role focuses on supervising daily kitchen production and coordinating meals on wheels distribution, not direct meal preparation.

Reliable transportation is required for this position. The supervisor will oversee staff, monitor safety and sanitation, manage production timelines, and assist with onboarding and records.

Competenze

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience.
• ServSafe certification preferred.

SUMMARY

Supervises and coordinates daily kitchen production activities to ensure meals are prepared, packaged, and distributed according to established production schedules. Oversees kitchen staff and workflow throughout production, monitors productivity and food safety compliance, and ensures all operational deadlines are met. This position focuses on managing kitchen operations, staff assignments, and production timelines and is not primarily responsible for preparing meals. Reliable transportation is a requirement for this position.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee daily kitchen operations and production timelines
• Directs and monitors kitchen staff and volunteers
• Assigns workstations and tasks based on production requirements
• Monitors compliance with food safety and sanitation procedures

QUALIFICATIONS

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directly supervises kitchen production staff and volunteers assigned to meal production, packaging, and distribution activities
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, and work in a fast-paced commercial kitchen environment.
