Job summary

Casey's Kitchen Manager role focuses on leading the kitchen team, ensuring food safety, and driving efficient operations within prepared foods and beverages. You will work closely with the Store Manager to uphold Casey’s CARES values while delivering a top-tier guest experience.

The role requires hands-on leadership, strong communication, and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced retail environment. Compensation includes a starting pay range with quarterly bonuses and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience leading kitchen teams in a retail or quick-service setting.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and HACCP principles.
• Strong communication and coaching abilities.
• Ability to manage inventory and maintain 5S standards.

Responsibilities

• Actively train, guide, and engage kitchen Team Members, delegate tasks effectively, and coach for success.
• Under the supervision of the Store Manager, manage and influence operational activities in prepared foods and dispensed beverages to optimize performance.
• Partner with the Store Manager to be accountable for all kitchen activities, maintaining 5S standards, and ensuring smooth daily operations.
• Oversee kitchen inventory and maintain accurate stock levels.
• Anticipate and resolve guest concerns related to kitchen service, keeping the Store Manager informed.
• Model and coach to Casey’s CARES values: Commitment, Authenticity, Respect, Evolving, Service.
• Proficiently perform Store Team Member duties when needed.
