Bubba’s 33 is seeking a Kitchen Manager in Chesapeake, VA to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting all food according to recipes and procedures. This role emphasizes safe food handling, cost control, and staff development within a dynamic, community-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and overseeing cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees including evaluations, coaching, and discipline
• Assisting with development of key employees through daily feedback
• Conducting line Taste & Temp checks for inventory and safety
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of all items
• Practicing safe food handling procedures
• Managing food costs, tracking waste, and controlling kitchen labor costs
• Directing work schedules and task assignment for Back of House staff
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning procedures
• Reviewing applications and hiring or recommending hires
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment in line with core values and goals
