Job summary

Texas Roadhouse, Inc. is seeking a legendary Kitchen Manager to oversee all Back of House operations, including purchasing, receiving, preparing, and presenting food in a timely manner per recipes and procedures.

Qualifications

• Oversee all Back of House operations.
• Lead and coach Back of House staff including evaluations and discipline.
• Manage food cost, inventory, waste, and labor to meet targets.

Responsibilities

• Supervising and overseeing the production and preparation of food in a manner consistent with established recipes and procedures
• Enforcing compliance with employment policies and ensuring cleanliness and guest safety
• Directing productivity to maintain efficient food item ticket times
• Managing performance of Back of House employees including evaluations and coaching
• Assisting with development of key employees and hourly staff with daily feedback
• Conducting Taste & Temp checks as part of inventory and safety responsibilities
• Overseeing proper handling, maintenance, and storage of items
• Ensuring safe food handling procedures
• Directing work and scheduling for Back of House staff
• Training staff on equipment maintenance and cleaning
• Reviewing applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations
• Creating a safe, fun, and clean work environment in line with core values
