Job summary

The League Kitchen & Tavern is hiring a Restaurant Kitchen Manager to oversee back of house operations, ensuring guest service and food quality standards while leading the kitchen team.

You should be available to work within opening hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends. A high school diploma is required, hospitality certification is a plus. Start at $65k to $70k per year, based on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as a Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha/Toast.
• Good math and reporting skills.
• Customer service attitude.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Availability to work within opening hours (evenings, holidays, weekends).
• High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee back of house operations to ensure guest service & food quality standards.
• In this KM role, you will manage restaurant back of house / kitchen teams along with assistant manager roles and duties.
• Sous Chef or Culinary Manager experience is preferred in this Heart of House role.
• Help minimize operating costs, boost employee retention and deliver a positive dining experience.
