The League Kitchen & Tavern in Austin, TX, is seeking a Kitchen Manager to lead back-of-house operations and uphold quality across the menu. You will collaborate with assistants and a management team to ensure smooth service, cost controls, and staff development.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in kitchen leadership, familiarity with Aloha/Toast, strong math and reporting skills, and a passion for hospitality. Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience as Kitchen Manager, Restaurant Manager or Head Chef.
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha/Toast.
• Good math and reporting skills.
• Customer service attitude.
• Communication and team management abilities.
• Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends).
• High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee back-of-house operations to uphold guest service and food quality standards.
• Help minimize operating costs and boost employee retention.
• Deliver a positive dining experience for guests as part of the restaurant management team.
• In this KM role, manage kitchen teams and assist other managers; sous chef or culinary manager experience preferred.
