Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill in Roanoke is seeking a Kitchen Leader. You will learn how to prepare great food, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring delicious results. You’ll order supplies and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.

You will uphold food quality and safety, keep the kitchen clean and stocked, maintain equipment, and model teamwork to deliver a great customer experience. You will engage with Crew and customers, help achieve station goals, and support a safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• Have a high school diploma.
• Have restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory, resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized, and properly stocked.
• Maintain equipment and ensure repairs are done promptly.
• Ensure guidelines to prevent injuries or accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and Inventory Rotation (FIFO).
