Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and run food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables, ensuring our dishes are delicious and safe. You’ll order ingredients and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and delivering a standout guest experience.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, keep the kitchen clean and well stocked, monitor equipment, and mentor teammates.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to understand Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure food quality by cooking and prepping food to order.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house Crews.
• Develop Crew members to be future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Keep the kitchen clean, sanitized and organized.
• Maintain equipment and repair as needed.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed in the kitchen.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO as required.
