Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling meats, and sautéing vegetables. You will order supplies, train Crew members, and ensure our kitchen stays clean, organized, and well-stocked while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

You will model teamwork and drive a great customer experience, guiding Crew through daily tasks and performance goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.
• High school diploma is required.
• Restaurant experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle’s policies and procedures to ensure food quality.
• Cook and prep food to order per kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels and resolve quality issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crews and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure kitchen is cleaned and sanitized.
• Monitor equipment and arrange for repairs as needed.
• Ensure kitchen and Crew meet safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO inventory documentation.
