Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and supervise food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables while ensuring every dish is delicious. You’ll oversee ordering, train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, and uphold food safety and cleanliness standards daily.

As a role model for the team, you’ll promote teamwork, maintain stocked stations, and drive a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• Understand and articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.
• Restaurant experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow Chipotle policies and procedures; cook and prep food to order.
• Monitor food quality, waste, and inventory; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back-of-house and front-of-house Crew.
• Develop Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with Crew and customers for great service and throughput.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized; ensure equipment is maintained.
• Ensure safety guidelines to prevent injuries and accidents.
• Fill out MSDS and FIFO inventories.
