Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader in our on-site Newtown Square restaurant. You will learn to prepare great food, grill meats, sauté vegetables, and train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders, while upholding Chipotle's Food With Integrity standards.

You will oversee food quality, inventory, cleanliness, and safety, while promoting teamwork and delivering a great customer experience. This role involves a fast-paced environment, hands-on leadership, and ongoing staff development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate in the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor inventory and food quality; resolve issues.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back- and front-of-house.
• Develop Crew members to become Kitchen Leaders.
• Ensure great customer service and throughput.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repairs when needed.
• Promote safety to prevent injuries.
• Complete MSDS and FIFO as required.
