Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and oversee food preparation, grilling, and sautéing, ensuring high-quality, delicious meals. You will supervise inventory, order supplies, and train Crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, promoting teamwork and a superior customer experience.

You will model Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy, maintain safety standards, and lead by example on the line.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience required.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory; resolve quality issues.
• Train Crew to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Promote teamwork between back of house and front of house crews.
• Communicate with Crew members and customers to ensure great service.
• Ensure the kitchen is clean, sanitized and well stocked.
• Maintain equipment and repair quickly when needed.
• Follow MSDS and FIFO procedures.
