Job summary

Chipotle Mexican Grill is seeking a Kitchen Leader to learn and execute great food preparation, grill meats, and sauté vegetables. You’ll trainCrew members to become future Kitchen Leaders, manage inventory, and uphold quality and safety standards to deliver a delicious guest experience.

As a role model, you’ll promote teamwork and ensure the kitchen operates smoothly, cleanly, and safely, while supporting throughput and high service levels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to articulate Chipotle’s Food With Integrity philosophy.
• Speak, write, and understand the primary language of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Cook and prep food to order following kitchen procedures.
• Monitor food waste and inventory levels.
• Support a strong team dynamic between back of house and front of house crews.
• Develop crew members to become future Kitchen Leaders.
• Communicate effectively with crew and customers to ensure great service and throughput.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation.
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repairs are addressed promptly.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed to prevent injuries.
• Complete Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and FIFO inventory rotation.
